For all of you who took note, I am posting about mustaches, more specifically, bands with mustaches in them (or mustached people if you prefer). I think I have enough information so enjoy the pictures.

This one was obvious. Some people say that ZZ Top became popular because of their beards (and mustaches).
John Bonham (far left) from Led Zeppelin is definitely a great drummer too.
He's basically the best drummer ever.

I'm glad that I watched the London Olympics Closing Ceremony yesterday because it was pretty cool. I was glad to see that Freddie Mercury made yet another appearance in the closing ceremony as well as an epic guitar solo from Brian May himself.

After the solo, Brian May and Roger Taylor went into one of Queen's most famous songs, We Will Rock You. Sadly, instead of Adam Lambert or the Freddie Mercury hologram playing, pop singer Jessie J sang instead and my reaction to that was much like this:
I used a sensor bleep for the sake of keeping this stuff family friendly.

I was sad to hear the song ruined by Jessie J, but it was still cool.
At the end, there was another performance from The Who. They played Baba O' Reilly and My Generation. It was really cool to watch and summed up the closing ceremony nicely.
I mean, who's more British than The Who? I'll tell you who. The Who of course!
Now I could go on and on about all the other cool stuff like John Lennon and David Bowie and stuff, but that will make it very long so I'm going to end right here with this octopus.
Oh, and before I forget, for all of you Monty Python fans out there, there was a little segment with Monty Python stuff. It was pretty fun to watch.
I know the opening to the Olympics was quite a while ago, but I haven't thought to write about it until now. I feel great that a lot of great classic rock songs were featured in the Opening Ceremony in London including Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, She Loves You by The Beatles and My Generation by The Who (Of course they were all British songs because the ceremony was in London). I loved all the fireworks too. The end was also cool because Paul McCartney (who was part of The Beatles) sang and performed the ending to two songs, Hey Jude and The End. All in all, it was a great Opening Ceremony.
During the fireworks, they also played Pink Floyd's Eclipse.

We also have Queen here because they are my favorite band and my favorite song by them was played in the Opening Ceremony. This is a 70's photo of them because they wrote the song Bohemian Rhapsody in the 70's.
As you can see, I have added a poll to the side of the blog. I'm taking votes right now for a future project so it is important that all you guys out there vote. I know that there are a bunch of famous singers missing, but I just want you all to choose from what I got there. There will be more polls like this in the future so be warned.

A lot of people know about the song Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, but do they know what it's really about? A lot of people would say it's about a guy who killed a man and tells his mom. Some people think it's about a guy's mom who frames his son for killing a man (what an evil mom). Freddie Mercury is the one who knows for sure, but he never told anyone and now he's gone. Part of the greatness of the song though is that no one really knows what it means. Queen has sworn to never tell the meaning of any of their songs. We may never know what it really means, but the not-knowing makes the song 20% cooler.
Brian May said in an interview that if everyone knew what the song Bohemian Rhapsody meant, it would lose some of its meaning and wouldn't be as good. (Paraphrase)
Or as I always say, "If I actually listened to the lyrics of this song closely, it might have some sort of deeper meaning to it."

If you look on Youtube, you see tons of song covers by many different people on their guitar or piano. I found something more unique. I found a cover of the song "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen by a guy playing a violin. A violin cover of a classic rock song! It's amazing! I have the video right here:
Freddie Mercury is an amazing man. He was a very talented singer for the band Queen. Queen is my favorite band. (It's a really long list) What I really love about Freddie Mercury though (Besides his beautiful singing) is his fans that have made him into a meme.
