In 1962, Ian Anderson's band, Jethro Tull was created. At first, the band had a different name that was eventually changed to Jethro Tull. The name came from a 1800's agriculturalist named Jethro Tull. (Don't ask me why they named the band after him.) Ian Anderson has written most of the songs in all of the albums including Aqualung and Locomotive Breath. Below you can see a live performance of Locomotive Breath featuring a flute solo by Ian Anderson himself.
He's so sweaty!
